Quick answers to the questions testers ask most. For the full protocol architecture, see the whitepaper.
A live testnet blockchain combining Proof of Stake with an on-chain reputation score, so borrowing power depends on more than just how much you can lock up as collateral.
No. CCT, ETHTEST, USDCTEST, and REPT are testnet participation tokens only. None of them are backed by, or convertible into, real currency or assets. See the disclaimer on the whitepaper for details.
No. Registering generates a real Ed25519 keypair in your browser; your wallet address is derived directly from your public key. Whoever holds the keypair is the account - there's no separate username/password system behind it.
Staked CCT or oETH (the receipt you get for staking ETHTEST) - never your liquid, spendable CCT. oETH itself can't be sent or transferred anywhere else; locking it as collateral here is its only use.
Yes - every endpoint allows cross-origin requests, and the signed-request scheme is self-certifying, so no API key or registration with CreditChain itself is required. See the founder notes below for the design reasoning, and the whitepaper for the technical architecture.
Not yet. No independent security audit has been performed. That review, plus separate legal/regulatory review, is planned before anything here could move toward representing real value.
A deeper Q&A on the reasoning behind CreditChain's design - why collateral works the way it does, why reputation carries real economic weight, and where the protocol is headed long-term.
